Weekend Crop

Here are the awesome petal boxes I learned how to make at Angela's Happy Stamper last Tuesday in a class. Hey Scrappin Sisters, I happen to have 3 extras for us to make!

Weekend Crop

What a great idea! Harmony Methodist Church had a Friday - Saturday Crop to raise funds for the Youth Group. We had awesome food and snacks all weekend. It was so much fun with my scrappin friends, Nicole, Traci and Michelle. Here are some of the pages I completed.

National Scrapbooking Day

In addition to the lay-outs we also had mini-challenges. It was getting pretty late on the east coast so I had to rush through these. My mini-challenge was the large paperclip bookmark. Petal Pusher wanted us to make the spiral flowers and a cute card I didn't get to finish. Gadget Gal's challenge was to make a tag using a mask or glimmer mist.

Here is challenge 3 from the Gadget Gal. Her challenge was to use dry embossing and a transparency. I used the transparency on the photo and placed brads to hold it into place. I still need to work on this page a little.

This is challenge 2 from the Petal Pusher. I think this is my favorite for the night. Her challenge was to use stitching and a embellishment using a Cricut machine. I was pretty limited to using Life is a Beach because that's the only one I have that has any shapes. I love this paper from the Songbird paper pad.

National Scrapbooking Day

Since we could not be together the scrappin sisters held our own crop night. I started the evening with the challenge of making a page using circles of any kind or size on a lay-out. The large circle in the center is also a pocket for another photo and journalling card. The thing I like best about this page is the word circles on the side border.
